2025-04-10 LES VOIX INTÉRIEURES' LAUNCH
Phew! How lucky I am!
So here it is, after an initial release in January 2025 with my EP "Les spectres de l'attente," I now have a first full-length album out: "Les voix intérieures." I really enjoyed presenting it in performance last Thursday (April 3rd) at my final master's degree and album launch concert.

A few words about the album:
This new experimental/IDM album is part of a research-creation approach aimed at bringing electroacoustic or concrete music closer to popular music. A reflection as much on philosophy as on technology, the artistic choices were made to make the pieces more accessible by offering "reference points" to the audience. Thus, the use of an electric guitar, voice, rhythm, harmony, and melodies is coupled with a musical discourse evolving around texture, spatialization, and spectral orchestration. The majority of the sounds heard are created from creative recordings that were then manipulated with extensive use of granulators, spectral processing, and delays, creating "ephemeral loops." A large portion of these recorded and manipulated sounds were originally produced with voices, which inspired the album's name.
The collection of works, consisting of eight pieces totaling approximately 45 minutes, explores the themes of the purity of the vivid emotions of our "little voices" in our heads, those we filter through our conscious minds, often toxic, both evasive and insistent, unhealthy and euphoric.

So here it is...After decades of working, refining, trying again, reworking, researching, slaving away, stopping, starting again, I have the immense pride of announcing the upcoming release of my project "Les spectres de l'attente" under the record label "Laboratoire formes•ondes", a first release on a record label for me.
You can already pre-order and listen to the first track on Bandcamp. The album will be available on major streaming platforms such as Spotify, Apple Music and Soundcloud.
This is an album of experimental-ambient-pop music co-produced with Myriam Boucher as part of my master's degree in research-creation in composition and sound creation.
